115, 135, 155 on the back squats; feel like that should go up next time; 8:52 (I think) on the metcon.

Baseball + CrossFit is interesting. Speed, power, balance, agility, coordination…those are all pretty important to the game (most sports, really). Now if only the Mets would get in the game…

Metcon took a long time (was it 16:something)? And, of course involved new and interesting pushup variations.

Marlins are an interesting case study. Their business model has been to slowly build through the draft and trades, then add a veteran player, put on an amazing season (maybe win the World Series) and then sell off the big names — to get more players to develop. So, unlike certain AL East teams, their teams are full of young players who may be more willing to try something new w/r/t their training.

Also, if I could be either as big or as fast as Hanley Ramierez, I’d be pretty happy. I’d listen to his strength and conditioning coach.
