What you learn by training here is something unforgettable and priceless. Your teammates here will become part of your family. It is something earned, not issued. Most of the athletes consider it as something akin to brotherhood. Something they’ve all worked hard for and shed sweat, tears and often blood.
Our Warrior Strength Training develops leadership characteristics and accountability you will not find from training at the “gym”. These qualities in athletes are very hard to find these days. When so much is focused on being self-centered and “all about me” we teach our athletes to excel at the old-school things like discipline, mental toughness, responsibility, and accountability. These qualities are critical to success in sports and life.
As a member of the Warrior Strength Gym you will be expected to attain special distinction in all areas of your life. Being second-best is unacceptable. You will be expected to bring your A-game every time. Nothing else is permitted here.
In addition to forging your armor with brawn, muscle and iron we will also make you more flexible and assure you are fueling (eating) your body the way it was meant to run. You will be less susceptible to injuries and your overall metabolic conditioning will outshine any of your competition – period.
Who Do We Accept Into Our Warrior Strength Training Program?
We’re known for being no BS, hardcore and at the same time very down-to-earth. We’re only interested in taking driven, dedicated and highly motivated athletes who are willing to fight to achieve their goals. It takes that type of dedication to achieve your goals. We take this type of person and forge them into an explosive, fierce and devastatingly strong athlete who is mentally & physically tougher than anyone else in their sport.
Whether it’s wrestling, football, martial arts, lacrosse, soccer, basketball or baseball, our unique and results oriented training is designed to guarantee that you meet and exceed the demands of your sport. We teach the essential 10 General Physical Skills that YOU need to dominate your competition. These skills will give you the tools become the best.
How do we train athletes? We train our athletes in small groups of between 5 to 8-9 athletes per session. This type of close knit group allows all of our like minded athletes to train together. Our athletes feed off each others energy and that helps make them all shine! This type of atmosphere keeps them from training at another “gym” where they train by themselves or under the direction of someone who does not share their drive and focus on success. None of our athletes will ever be stuck training with anyone who is unmotivated or would bring the group down.
Why do we screen our athletes and their parents? Simple. When you join us you are joining a special group. We are dedicated to your success. If you have the talent and want to be a D1 level football player or wrestler or baseball player we are going to make sure you are surrounded by people who are driving toward the same goals. Whether is Division 1, 2, 3 or J.Co everyone here is striving to be the absolute best they can be. NO SLACKERS. So, this screening beforehand is to ensure we have athletes who are ready and willing to commit to their success. Even more importantly athletes need to have the support of their parents at home too. These parents need to have full trust in us and allow us to do what we do best - forge their child into the best athlete they’ve ever been.
Only highly dedicated, highly motivated athletes are accepted into the program. No exceptions. This ensures that every athlete training at our gym compliments one another and helps raise the bar for one another.
Showing up late, complaining, making excuses, etc. is unacceptable, period.
Dedication, determination, commitment, tenacity, intensity – these traits and practices are all expected of our athletes.
If price is your main concern then we are NOT the right program for you. You can go to the local gym or health club and your results will reflect your price. We are NOT the KMart of Sport Performance.

2 Classes Per Week: $129/mo
-Additional family member = $50/mo
3 Classes Per Week: $159/mo
-Additional family member = $60/mo
Unlimited Classes: $179/mo

At our gym we don’t accept all who want to join. What kind of athletes do we let join our team looking to optimize their sports performance?
The typical person looks like this:
- First and foremost you LISTEN and follow instructions – rest and recovery, sportsmanship, nutrition, athletic development and performance training.
- You are ALWAYS on time, EVERY time (on time = early)
- You are committed to giving your best effort EVERY time you come in and being better than the last time you were in the gym.
Your dedication to your training and sport is expected in ALL areas of life: You should act, dress, speak and live what you hope to become. All of your teachers should speak highly of your character and your grades and you should be known as a person who is always willing to help and coach others to become better. Suffice it to say, you should always bust your butt to be THE very best – there’s no other option.
Really, What Do We Teach?
The short answer is life long lessons. What we do that sets us apart is our training requires our athletes to develop not only physically but mentally as well. We’re about building character in our athletes, teaching them lessons in life which are in alignment with what happens on the competitive scene in sports. It is not uncommon to see highly successful athletes move on to other ventures in their life and conquer them with ease.
So Do You Really Want To Dominate At Your Sport?
Then you need to train differently than your competition. If you want to be the best than you NEED to have an edge over your competition. If you want to truly excel and stand alone at the top of the medal stand then you need to have a few edges over the competition. The competition is already doing everything you’re doing. Whether it’s going to the sport specific athletic camps, training in their high school or collegiate weight room, everyone does the basics to get them by…to be average.
If you’re simply doing the same exact things as everyone – what’s going to make you any different?
You’ve got to set yourself apart from the pack. You’ve got to make yourself into the Elite level athlete that focuses on mastery of the basics and much more. Our methods are specifically geared towards the development of you, the athlete. At CrossFit 1776 we don’t just slap together workout programs hoping they will work.
Olympic weightlifting, kettlebells, sledgehammers, tractor tires, sandbags, powerlifting and bodyweight exercises are only tools, nothing else.
Why You Need Expert Guidance
The way we organize these methods and training tools together is what separates us from the typical program and is exactly why our results quickly skyrocket the progress of any athlete who experiences our program.
So many parents and athletic coaches try to take the performance preparation into their own hands by getting barbells, kettlebells, sledgehammers, tractor tires, dumbbells and the like. Too bad they don’t realize that simply having the tools does NOT qualify you as an expert.
“My dad has a weight set at home” in no way qualifies him to train you. I can change the oil in my car but that doesn’t make me a mechanic.
Interviewing our athletes and their parents prior to acceptance ensures that we have athletes who are ready and willing to commit to their success with supportive parents who trust us and allow us to do what we do best, which is transforming athletes into the best they have ever been.
Our hours of operation are by appointment only and we offer training Monday – Saturday.
Please keep in mind not all applicants are accepted due to the requirements of our training program. Not accepting everyone leaves little doubt in our athlete’s minds that everyone in our groups is highly motivated. We simply will not accept unmotivated athletes into our group.
Both the Parent AND athlete are interviewed because we not only require highly committed athletes, but we look for parents to be supportive of what we do, NOT overbearing.
We are Currently Limiting Membership into our Warrior Strength Training program to 30 athletes. We limit it to this number to ensure our athletes get the best coaching possible. If you apply when membership is full you have the option of being placed on our waiting list.
